IRIX Pharmaceuticals,Inc. (IPI) is a CRO/CMO specilizing in the development and supply of clinical and commercial API's for the small molecule market. IPI was founded in 1997 and employs approximately 150 people- 100 of whom are scientists and 42 of whom are Ph.D. level chemists with significant pharma experience. IPI has 3 locations: Florence, SC ( medchem to Phase II GMP supply, Greenville, SC ( Phase III to launch and commercial supply- all GMP) and St.Petersburg, Russia (discovery cpds and bldg blocks on lab scale). IRIX is organized primarily to serve emergng pharma companies with complete chemistry and analytical services for their lead compounds but also serves major pharma co's due to outstanding Process Development skills.
