Non-Obstructing Heater (NOH)
The NOH’s straight tube design allows unrestricted flow, prevents pressure drop and heats slurries without plugging or fouling. The NOH’s rugged design and materials of construction allow it to handle abrasive materials minimizing wear on internal parts. It can be used in a variety of applications including municipal and industrial wastewater, pulp bleaching, cellulosic ethanol, meat slurry, diced vegetables and blanching, mining and metals and inline water heating with a large temperature rise. Other benefits of the NOH include a low pressure drop, unrestricted flow, a quiet, noise minimizing design, and trim heating control for high turndown.
