QUSAC Canada Inc. is the holding company of the QUSAC family of businesses. QUSAC’s mission is to discover and develop innovative products and services for the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. QUSAC Decaf Inc. was founded in 1995 when Colombian and Canadian interests joined forces to purchase the damaged and neglected assets of a failed decaffeination business. The initial batches produced did not meet the high standards and expectations of the founders; extensive and laborious modifications were undertaken. The desired level of quality was achieved in July of 1997 and commercial production commenced. In February of 2000 QUSAC Decaf Inc became a 100% Canadian owned with the buyout of the Colombian interest. During 2003, QUSAC opened a laboratory operation named QUSAC Laboratories. Its purpose is to provide independent laboratory services to various industries requiring caffeine analysis. In 2005 QUSAC Canada Inc. launched QUSAC Pharma Inc. The new division was launched to supply neutraceuticals and flavours to various industries. QUSAC continues to invest in R&D to develop new technologies and products. The team is comprised of highly motivated individuals that have one focus; TO BE NUMBER ONE in everything we do.
