Cadence, Inc. Receives Healthy Workplace Award

On May 28, Cadence’s Cranston, RI facility was recognized with a Worksite Health Award in the Exemplary category. Annually, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) together with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce (GPCC), present the Worksite Health Awards to area businesses that offer programming to encourage employees to be healthier.
“The Cadence RI facility has a large wellness drive and this is the second year Cadence received an award for its efforts,” stated Amanda Latek, Human Resources Associate.
Cadence was one of more than 70 Rhode Island businesses to which BCBSRI and the GPCC distributed Worksite Health Awards at a breakfast attended by hundreds of state business leaders. The event recognized local businesses and employees who have demonstrated commitment to fixing the healthcare system together through greater health and wellness measures, as companies and as individuals.
