The PVS Rheometer is designed to test small complex samples. and will simulate process conditions in a benchtop environment for the testing of small sample volumes. Its coaxial cylinder geometry delivers excellent accuracy and outstanding sensitivity.
Brookfield Rheovision software ensures that test parameters are followed under the most demanding test requirements. Sample boil-off problems are eliminated.

PVS features include:
Robust motor capable of speeds up to 1000 rpm
Quick and easy setup in minutes
Safety Relief value with 1000psi (high pressure)
Couette Geometry outside cylinder rotates, “Bob” inside remains stationary, generating shear rates up to 1700 sec-1.
RTD on the inner cylinder insures accurate sample temperature measurement
Vacuum to high pressure measurements up to 1,000 psi
Hastelloy C cup and bobs for operation in severe field environments
Low Shear Rate Viscosity (LSRV) measurement to .02 sec-1
Temperature conditions: from -40°C to +260°C

Applications include: fracturing fluids, drilling muds, volatile chemicals, petroleum products, and black liquor.

Optional Accessories: Viscosity Standards, additional spindle (bobs), computer, Temperature Control bath and Thermo Bath.

Available with triple annulus geometry for increased sensitivity when measuring low viscosity fluids,
