Insight Global Further Expands Investment in Serving Utilities and Energy Industry

Evergreen, Insight Global’s professional services division, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kaveh Aflaki as Industry Principal – Energy and Utilities. In this role, Dr. Aflaki will lead strategic initiatives to support Evergreen’s energy and utility clients, delivering innovative solutions across Applied Engineering Services, Customer Experience, AI/ML, Application Development, Cloud and Data. 

Dr. Kaveh Aflaki holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an Executive MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). With nearly two decades of experience in the energy sector, he brings a wealth of expertise across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. He has been instrumental in advancing Smart Grid initiatives at ComEd/Exelon, where he managed AMI Operation data analytics. In recent years, he has led solutioning and sales teams for several T&D technology vendors. Before joining Evergreen, he served as the CEO of IEMS Solution, providing cutting-edge SaaS solutions to utilities. As a recognized thought leader and Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Dr. Aflaki has held leadership positions, including VP of Meetings and Conferences for IEEE-Smart Grid and Chair of Strategy and Planning for the IEEE-PES Grid Edge Conference. Currently he is the Publicity and Image Lead for IEEE-PES Industry Technical Support Leadership Committee (ITSLC).
