Product Details

Vacuum chambers for solid-phase extraction (SPE) are auxiliary devices for preparing samples via solid-phase extraction, as well as filtering samples using vacuum.

Operating principle of TFE chambers
Negative pressure is created by means of a vacuum pump in a vacuum tank closed by a cap. Solid-phase cartridges for SPE are connected to shut-off valves fitted with a Leur input connector which are mounted into the cap. Due to the difference between the atmosphere pressure and the pressure created in the vacuum tank, the liquid flows through the solid-state cartridge into a container with reduced pressure (vacuum tank). The rate of the sample flow through the solid-state cartridge is regulated by changing the pressure in the tank (the flow rate increases with increasing pressure in the tank).
